At Bistro St-Malo, we believe that a French bistro should be more than a place to eat—it should be a place to feel at ease, to gather, and to savour. Our relaxed atmosphere and thoughtful, ingredient-driven cuisine celebrate the richness of fresh local products, prepared with care and creativity.
Whether you’re seated on the sunlit terrace or beside the open fireplace, you’ll feel right at home. Each dish is designed to elevate the joy of sharing a meal—be it with colleagues, lifelong friends, or someone new and special.

Our chef
Philippe Racine works enthusiastically and with a genuine passion alongside his kitchen brigade. Self-taught, but quickly recognized by his peers, he learned how to cook on the fly at his aunt’s snack bar, located where the cruise ship terminal now stands. Trained in the company of both traditional French and gifted young Québec chefs, he worked hard to rise through the ranks and is now the proud owner of Bistro St-Malo.
Philippe Racine has put all of his passion, creativity and discipline into creating a menu comparable to those of the best French bistros! Inspired by the finest locally-sourced and imported products, he is able to blend flavours and textures to perfection. You’re always welcome to stop by the kitchen to say hi to him!
